WPMagic Migration

The WordPress migration plugin we wrote for ourselves — and now offer to studios running containerised WordPress at any scale. Single-file .wpm archive, atomic swap, automatic rollback if the new site doesn't come up clean.

  • Single-click export. The full site — database plus wp-content — lands in one .wpm archive ready to download.
  • Streaming everything. Pure-PHP dumper and a hand-rolled gzipped-tar writer. 200× faster than the usual PharData approach; works on sites with 50k+ files and multi-GB uploads.
  • Serialisation-safe URL rewrite. Unserialize → walk → re-serialize for PHP serialised blobs. Decode → walk → re-encode for JSON. Your Elementor, WooCommerce and Blocksy customiser data survives the cross-domain move.
  • Atomic swap, automatic rollback. Imported data lives in a temp prefix until the last possible moment. A single RENAME TABLE makes it live. If the post-swap health check fails, we put the old site back — untouched.
  • Environment-agnostic. Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, Caddy. mod_php or PHP-FPM. MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+. No exec, no Composer, no shell access required.
  • Production diagnostics. Every run writes to a downloadable debug log. A single-command diagnostic script dumps the full plugin state when something's off.
